With numerous bus stops, and service running every 10 to 15 minutes every day, the South Beach Local makes getting around in SoBe a breeze. Hop on the new "South Beach Local" and cool off for just 25 cents a trip.

NOTICE: On June 14, 2009 the South Beach Local bus route will be extended to include stops at Collins Park and Belle Isle.  The Collins Park stop will be on 21^st Street and Park Avenue and will provide residents with access to the Bass Museum, Miami City Ballet, Miami Beach Library, and the Beachwalk at 21^st Street.  The Belle Isle stop will be on the Venetian Causeway at Island Ave East. It is anticipated that the new stops will increase the headways (or frequency of bus service) for the South Beach Local.  Monday through Saturday, buses will come every 12 minutes from 10:00am to 6:00pm and every 20 minutes from 7:45am to 10:00am and from 6:00pm to 1:00am.  On Sundays, the bus will come every 12 minutes from 12:00 noon to 6:00pm and every 20 minutes from 10:00am to 12:00 noon and from 6:00pm to 1:00am. The City’s Transportation Division has been working with Miami-Dade Transit on redesigning the existing bus stops along West Avenue to increase the efficiency of the South Beach Local.  Please see the new route map for more details.
