Fire Department - For off-duty Fire services/ staffing and fees, please contact Jorge Linares, Fire Special Events Coordinator at www.firespecialevents@miamibeachfl.gov or call 786.276.2620.

Parking Meter Rentals - If your event needs to utilize on-street parking you must complete and submit a meter rental request. Meter spaces are $10.00 per space or meter/per day + plus administrative fees. If you are utilizing a Commercial Loading zone please disclose that to parking as fees may apply. Please contact Nelly Correa at the Parking Department at 305-673-7505 x6673.

Building Department - (Building Permits Fees and Temporary Occupant Loads)

If you are erecting temporary structure such as Tents; Fencing; Staging; Electrical; Bleachers; Pluming (Restroom(s) / Port-a-lets); Pool Covers; you will require temporary structure permits. In addition, if you are exceeding your permanent occupancy load you may need to apply for a Temporary Occupant Load at Building. Please contact the Building Department for fee schedule please call 305-673-7610 or visit www.miamibeachfl.gov.

Sanitation Department - (Sand sifter, dumpster, public restroom staffing): Alfonso Ritchey 305-673-7616.

Public Works - If you are encroaching or placing any of the following items such as a Crane or any other type heavy machinery on the Public Right of Way or sidewalk, you must obtain a Right of Way permit from the City’s Public Works Department 305-673-7080.

Parks & Recreation: If you are holding an event in a City park or any other grass area and have temporary structures or any other items that may damage the grass; you may have to arrange a pre-event walkthrough to the event site. A Parks Department Supervisor or designee will mark sprinkler lines. In addition a post event walkthrough may be performed to asses any damage to grass or irrigation lines if any. Damages are at the applicant/ producers expense.
