The Miami Beach Code requires that a permit be obtained at a fee of $20.00. Only one garage sale is permitted at a residential location in each 12-month period. Each garage sale permit is valid for two consecutive days. Permits are available at City Hall and application and payment must be made by 3:00 p.m. at least one business day prior to the sale.
