ENVIRONMENTAL - INTERNSHIPResponsibilities and DutiesResearch various environmental topics such as green building, dune enhancement, beach health, turtle nesting, seawalls, and stormwater issues. Assist Environmental Specialist and Environmental Resources Manager with daily operations. Intern will have the opportunity to choose an area of interest related to the general work plan of the Division.ObjectivesThe intern will gain valuable experience and make important contributions to the City through observing and participating in the public processes involved with managing the City’s environmental resources.QualificationsCollege/University student seeking a degree in an Environmental or Science related field.Compensation for the internship is subject to availability.Please send cover letter and resume to Margarita Wells, Environmental Specialist, at mwells@miamibeachfl.gov.
