Mrs. Montoya Hasan has been practicing with the City Attorney's Office since 1997. Mrs. Montoya Hasan handles general civil, complex commercial, construction and appellate litigation and administrative proceedings. She serves as counsel to the City's Building and Fire Departments and advises on state law and code matters, including all enforcement and administrative proceedings through and including appellate proceedings. She handles litigation and public records issues for the Redevelopment Agency, Capital Improvements Projects (CIP) and Public Works Departments. Mrs. Montoya Hasan is counsel to the Convention Center Advisory Board and the Condominium Reform Taskforce Committee. She has lectured locally and nationally on fire and building code issues.
