Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Bikeways Committee
The Bikeways Committee is a citizens’ bicycle advocacy group that provides the City with valuable input and suggestions on the development of the City’s Bicycle Program. The Bikeways Committee meets every last Wednesday of the month at 2pm in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)
The Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee, or BPAC, is a Miami-Dade County committee made up of 22 citizens, who have been appointed by each voting MPO Governing Board member to advise them on bicycle and pedestrian related issues.
The BPAC helps to identify opportunities, recommends project and provides input on projects that affect people who walk or ride their bike, in order to make bicycling and walking safe methods of transportation and recreation in Miami-Dade County.
BPAC meetings are also a forum for discussion of topics brought forward by the general public. Scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm in room 18-3 of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center (111 NW First Street, Miami, Florida 33128).

B.A.S.I.C. Bicycle Advocacy for a Safe Integrated City
BASIC is a local community organization where bicyclists of all abilities network to advocate for expanded bicycle facilities before municipal boards and committees where decisions are made regarding funding and programming.
