Flamingo Park is located in the heart of South Beach. Whether you live an active or passive life style, Flamingo Park has something to offer everyone.
Construction of this 36.53 acre park dates back to 1950. In 2002, the newly renovated Flamingo Aquatic Center was re-opened and in 2005, the tot lot/playground was opened along with a state-of-the-art football field. As of 2006 continued renovations are still to come as part of the capital improvements G.O. bond project.
There are three main entrances to the Park that will lead you down the main promenade: 11th Street and Jefferson Avenue, 13th Street and Michigan Avenue and 13th Street and Meridian Avenue.
