iPARK-IN VEHICLE PARKING METER (IVPM)
iPark (In Vehicle Parking Meter) IVPM
The iPark (In Vehicle Parking Meter) or IVPM is a state-of-the-art electronic device, (about the size of a SunPass® transponder --the Florida Department of Transportation's very successful Prepaid Toll device), that allows drivers the ease, convenience, and security of paying for parking with the push of a button -- before they even leave their cars – at parking lots and on-street spaces operated by the City of Miami Beach.
Developed by ePark Systems, iPark -- the 21st Century Parking Meter – is the most convenient and cost-efficient way to pay for parking.
Quick & Easy
Rates and other information are displayed on the easy-to-read screen of the re-loadable, stored-value device. Drivers simply select the proper ipark zone (A or B ) which is indicated on the single and multi-space meters, start the parking session, and place the device near the windshield with the screen facing out so it can be read by the city’s parking enforcement personnel. The screen displays a digital clock, which counts down the time remaining.
The iPark can be purchased at the City’s Parking Department. Please bring the signed application and use agreement to the City
