Leonor Hernandez serves as Aid  to Commissioner Jonah Wolfson. In addition to working directly with the Commissioner on a variety policy initiatives and issues, she handles constituent services and represents the Commissioner at community meetings.

Prior to joining the Commissioner, Mrs. Hernandez spent many years helping the Miami Beach Community as a volunteer.  She served on the Safety Committee, on the Police Citizens Relations Committee, and lastly on the Zoning Board of Adjustments.   She also served as Treasurer of the Miami Beach Association for the Gifted at North Beach Elementary School for over 10 years. 

Originally from Santiago de Cuba,  Mrs. Hernandez was raised in Madrid, Spain and has lived in Miami Beach, Florida for over 20 years.  She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida. 

Mrs. Hernandez is married and has three lovely children, Tony, Joseph and Cristina.
