The Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Office oversees the City's capital improvement and construction efforts to improve the City's infrastructure, public facilities, parks, beach amenities, golf courses and public safety structures. Ambitious capital goals were set forth in 1999 with General Obligation Bond programs for both the City and the County, a Water and Wastewater Bond program and a Stormwater Bond program. The Capital Improvement Projects Office is tasked with managing and completing all these projects. The entire Capital Program includes over 100 projects, of which 29 have been completed, 19 are currently in construction and the rest are in design or planning phases.
