All Miami Beach residents and businesses are strongly encouraged to check their hurricane preparedness kits, review their family emergency plans, and remain informed during hurricane season. As a reminder, Miami Beach is an evacuation zone, as such plan in advance where you will stay, how you will get there, and what supplies you will take in case an evacuation is issued. Also, give yourself ample time to get to a safe area. For more information on how to prepare, go to our Hurricane Information Center.

Storm Surge Simulator This new online tool is designed to help you evaluate your vulnerability to storm surge, but it should not be used to determine evacuation. Always follow the protective actions issued by emergency officials.
